- "The Aspect was specially designed for long multi-pitch routes in granite and for crack climbing. With its high-quality leather upper, the Aspect offers a balanced relationship between comfort and performance and is characterized in particular by its innovative design. The lacing of the shoe is slightly covered by the leather on the outside to protect it from abrasion when crack climbing. The tongue of the shoe uses our Engineered Knit Technology for additional breathability and comfort. The knitted fabric extends to the outside of the shoe, almost under the edge, to provide additional cushioning for foot jams. The stabilized side edges increase precision by preventing the foot from slipping over the edge when loading the inside or outside edge. Inspired by the technique used to forge our carabiners, the Aspect's stiff, durable rubber is molded from a layer of rubber. With this technical solution, we optimize the rubber and its edges in terms of weight, consistency and comfort. The Aspect has a medium flex zone in the middle sole area for additional support without compromising comfort.
