Made from the robust Pertexu00u00ae Shield three-layer fabric, the Bivy offers excellent protection from the elementsu00u. The fabric combines a tightly woven, DWRtreated nylon shell with a microporous membrane that improves moisture management and a tricot layer for added comfort and durability. The bottom is made from proprietary HyperBeadu2122 fabric with a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating. All seams are taped with a waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape, which maximizes protection against moisture.
The window at the head end of the bivouac offers two closure options: a mesh layer for optimum ventilation or a coated layer for full protection in bad weather. Three pegging loops ensure that the structure remains secure even in strong winds.
