The facts at a glance
Atomic Four JR
"Safe and stylish ski helmet for children with outstanding shock absorption and individually adjustable wearing comfort."
"The Atomic Four JR is the ideal companion for young adventurers who are out and about in everyday life as well as on the slopes. This ski helmet combines stylish design with maximum safety and comfort. With its urban lowprofile design, it is similar to the models for adults and yet offers special functions for children. The helmet features an in-mold shell in which the EPSfoam is injected directly into the PC shell, making it particularly safe and lightweight."
"An outstanding feature of the Atomic Four JR is the Holo Core, an extended crumple zone that provides up to 30% more cushioning than the industry standard. This guarantees maximum protection during crashes. The innovative Ear Fit System with drawstring ensures that the ears remain warm and protected, while the manually height-adjustable fit system with dial allows precise adjustment to the individual head shape."
"For additional comfort, the inner lining can be removed so that beanies or ski goggles can be worn under the helmet without any problems. Thanks to the Active Aircon ventilation system, warm air is effectively drawn away from the head, ensuring a pleasant wearing climate. The Atomic Four JR is not just a helmet, but a reliable protection partner for young skiers that perfectly combines style and functionality."

SportFits advice
Atomic Four JR
Ear pads with drawcord
EN 1077:2007 Class B | In-Mold | Aircon air channels
The essentials
- ✓A good fit if you want to close the ear pads more tightly around your child's head
- ✓A good fit if you are looking for a helmet with adjustable fit height for your child
- –Less so if you require adjustable ventilation openings for your child: the manufacturer mentions Aircon air channels, not adjustment.
What is it for?
Our take
With the Four JR, you can close the ear pads around your child's ears using the Ear-Fit drawcord. The rear adjustment wheel and height adjustment help you set the fit. The In-Mold shell contains air channels from the Aircon system.
