The Carapax JR from Alpina is the ideal companion for young mountain bikers and cyclists in everyday urban life. Inspired by the adult model, this children's helmet offers optimum protection and safety off-road and on the road. The innovative Inmold manufacturing technology, in which the upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi EPS, ensures a low weight and an extremely stable construction. Additional protection is provided by the Edge Protect polycarbonate shell, which reinforces the lower edge of the helmet, while the deeper design in the rear and temple area ensures extended head coverage.
The Carapax JR scores points with practical details such as large ventilation openings that ensure excellent ventilation, while integrated fly screens keep annoying insects away. The helmet shield offers additional protection in the field of vision and increases safety. Thanks to the Run System Classic and the height-adjustable Custom Fit System, the helmet can be perfectly adapted to the shape of the head. For even better visibility in low light conditions, the helmet can be fitted with the optional Multi-Fit Light.
