The Superalp NBK LTR from AKU is the ideal companion for demanding hiking and trekking trips at high altitudes. This rugged shoe is specifically designed for backpackers who cover long distances while carrying heavy loads. Thanks to its exoskeleton construction and PU wedge, the shoe offers excellent cushioning, high shock absorption, and unmatched stability, even on uneven terrain. The innovative lacing system ensures even pressure distribution across the forefoot and allows for individual adjustment of the upper closure.
The upper is made of high-quality, thick nubuck leather from Italian tanneries, which is not only known for its durability but also develops an increasingly comfortable fit over time. Inside, fine full-grain leather ensures an optimal fit to the foot’s shape and guarantees excellent breathability. With a high-cut shaft and laces measuring 150 cm, the Superalp NBK LTR offers protection and comfort for long days in the mountains. The insole, made of 6–4 mm nylon, 10% carbon fiber, and an EVA layer, provides the necessary stiffness and support with every step.
