The Rocket Mid GTX from AKU is the ideal companion for anyone who feels comfortable on demanding hikes and speed hiking adventures. This dynamic fast hiking shoe offers reliability and comfort even on the most difficult trails. Equipped with the innovative Vibram Traction Lug technology, the shoe improves traction and grip by an impressive 25%. This is achieved thanks to the special design of the sole, which ensures stability, especially on slippery or uneven surfaces.
The upper of the shoe consists of a crossed ribstructure, which is additionally protected by a 3Dprint layer. This combination not only ensures durability, but also a modern appearance. The Rocket Mid GTX is equipped with the exclusive AKU Dual Fit System (DFS), which was specially developed for speed hiking. This system allows you to easily adjust the precision of the fit via two different lacing systems for added comfort and support.
Thanks to the use of Gore-Tex® material, the shoe is breathable and waterproof, making it perfect for changing weather conditions. The insole made of 2.0 mm polypropylene and Die-Cut EVA provides the necessary stiffness, while the AKU Elica Natural Stride System improves biodynamic performance and ensures a natural rolling motion of the foot. With a lace length of 109 cm, the shoe can be optimally adjusted and thus offers a secure fit for any activity.
