SportFits gains Thorsten Eder as Chief Marketing Officer
We are strengthening our management team: Thorsten Eder is taking over the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With his extensive expertise in digital marketing and e-commerce, he will continue to drive our growth strategy forward.
Strategic focus on digital growth
Thorsten Eder has extensive management experience in digital retail. As former Head of Marketing Germany at Saturn and Head of Marketing & E-Commerce at Bergzeit, he was responsible for the implementation of successful digital strategies and marketing campaigns.
In his new role, the 49-year-old will focus on the following key areas: Strengthening customer loyalty through a strong CRM and loyalty program, the use of AI technologies to optimize marketing processes, brand expansion and the promotion of performance marketing.

With his experience at major brands such as Saturn and Bergzeit, his expertise in e-commerce and artificial intelligence as well as his strategic vision, he brings exactly the skillset we need to further develop our marketing strategies. His vision of using AI technologies in a targeted manner to increase the efficiency of our marketing activities and customer loyalty is an ideal fit with our growth strategy. SportFits offers a wide range of high-quality clothing and equipment for winter sports, outdoor and biking - a product range that we want to position even more strongly and expand in the market with Thorsten's expertise.
