The new Active Piste ski collection from Schöffel
Light, breathable and warming: with its Active Piste collection, Schöffel covers all the qualities that distinguish high-quality ski clothing. The functional outfits not only impress with practical features, but also with modern, appealing looks. We present a few highlights from the new collection in more detail.
Highly functional ski jackets for her and him
When choosing ski clothing, most people first think of the jacket. As the outermost layer, it is the first thing that catches the eye and fulfils important protective functions. The models in the Schöffel Active Piste collection therefore use both innovative technologies and particularly robust and weatherproof materials.
The highlights of the autumn and winter season 22/23 include the Naladas ski jacket for women and Hohbiel for men. Both are made of Schöffel's own VENTURI material, which ensures a balanced body climate and sufficient protection from wind and weather. The closed membrane is processed between the outer fabric and the lining and acts as a barrier against wetness and cold without compromising breathability.
Both the athletically cut Naladas ski jacket and the Hohbiel model feature 4D BODY MAPPING technology in combination with 4-way stretch material for unrestricted freedom of movement on the slopes. This is particularly important on fast descents and also contributes significantly to wearing comfort.
Since safety also plays a big role in skiing, both models are equipped with a RECCO® rescue reflector that strikes out in case of emergency and supports localisation.

Ski Pants for maximum freedom of movement
Just as important as ski jackets are weatherproof ski trousers to protect you from the cold and wet. Schöffel has developed models for this, such as Horberg for women or Scalottas for men, which are particularly insulating and breathable at the same time. The VENTURI material with its insulating qualities is again used for this.
Another decisive factor for ski trousers is freedom of movement for full control on the slopes. For this reason, the ski trousers are equipped with 4-way stretch material in the right places and offer a comfortable fit that does not restrict you. So you can master every manoeuvre on the descent.
The legs also need additional protection when skiing. The Horberg women's ski pants provide this with edge protection and a snow guard at the leg end. The men's model Scalottas also has the latter, which also features PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Active insulation material on the inside.

Extra layers for extra warmth
Every skier knows that one layer is not enough in the snow. On cold days, midlayers or fleece jackets should definitely be worn under the ski jacket to protect against hypothermia. These must be breathable and thermally insulating so as not to interrupt the climate-regulating qualities of the base layer and ski jacket.
Schöffel therefore develops midlayers that can work perfectly with other layers and do their part to keep warmth in and moisture and cold out.
