Sporty through the year
Outdoor adventures are fun whatever the weather – at least if you have the right equipment. "There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing", is something we've all heard before. We go even further and say: "There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad equipment", because even the warmest jacket is often not enough. We introduce you to the right basic equipment for every season.
Spring
When the sun comes out more often and nature slowly awakens from hibernation, it's time for outdoor enthusiasts to spend the increasingly long days outside again.
However, you shouldn't get too cocky, as the weather can still change quickly. A good rain jacket, waterproof footwear and a suitable rucksack are therefore essential. We also recommend putting on several layers that you can easily take off and put on again depending on the weather.
Summer
It's finally time again for camping, water sports and long evenings in the fresh air! Lightweight, breathable clothing that protects you from the sun but also from overheating is particularly important in summer. Headgear is just as helpful. Incidentally, you should never do without sufficient sunscreen for your face, décolleté and arms, which you should also reapply regularly.
Your constant companion for hot days should also be a sturdy water bottle to keep you well hydrated. When camping, a reliable tent and a suitable sleeping bag are of course a must.
Autumn
In our opinion, the best time of year for long walks. The leaves are colorful, the air is fresh and the sun warms you with its still powerful rays. Nevertheless, you should be careful not to go on longer excursions unprepared.
The paths are often slippery due to lots of rain and falling leaves, which is why your shoes should not only be waterproof, but also have a non-slip sole. Hiking poles provide even more grip. A warm rain jacket and a head torch for the early onset of darkness should also be in your rucksack.
Winter
This is our absolute specialty. Depending on what you're planning, you'll need a lot of equipment in winter. Sturdy, warm and waterproof footwear, warm clothing, a water-repellent and insulating winter jacket and warm headgear are important even for smaller excursions.
In the snowy mountains, you will probably need even more layers of clothing and warm gloves. As safety is always the top priority, you should always have a headlamp and, if necessary, avalanche equipment to hand. Winter sports enthusiasts also need the right poles, skis, helmets and protectors.
Well equipped all year round
Whether you want to admire the awakening nature in spring, make the most of the long days in summer, explore the colorful forests in autumn or climb snow-covered mountains in winter – with the right equipment, your outdoor adventures will be a unique experience.
