Ski touring with Karpos
What makes a good ski touring outfit? The answer varies from ski tourer to ski tourer, but certain points are always mentioned: Warmth, breathability and freedom of movement. All these qualities are present in Karpos ski touring clothing. In addition, the range is characterised by its enormous diversity. Sas Plat - Warming extra layer
The Sas Plat line for men and women from Karpos includes a jacket and a versatile waistcoat that can be worn under the jacket.
The Sas Plat Vest made from 100 percent recycled 20-denier Pertex® Quantum outer fabric with DWR impregnation is particularly impressive thanks to its warmth-to-weight ratio. It is hardly noticeable when worn, but still provides you with enough warmth on particularly cold days. The synthetic down alternative Air Flake is used on the inside of the waistcoat, which is especially good for allergy sufferers. This technology has all the advantages of down, but is characterised by better compressibility and lower weight and retains all its properties even in rain and snow.
The Karpos Sas Plat jacket is the perfect complement to the waistcoat. Alternatively, it can be worn as an extra layer under your hardshell jacket. Like the waistcoat, the Sas Plat Jacket is made of 20 denier Pertex® Quantum outer fabric with DWR impregnation and 150 g Air Flake synthetic fibre insulation for extra warmth.
The advantages of the Sas Plat line lie in its versatility. Depending on the temperature, they can be combined with other pieces to give you the warmth you need.

Storm EVO – Take the mountains by storm
Die Storm EVO Jacke und Hose eignen sich nicht nur für Skitouren, sondern auch für Aktivitäten wie Eisklettern, lange Trekking-Touren im Winter oder auch fürs Skifahren. Hierfür ist das Set für Damen und Herren besonders leicht, atmungsaktiv und dennoch sehr wärmend.
The Storm EVO jacket and trousers are not only suitable for ski touring, but also for activities such as ice climbing, long trekking tours in winter or skiing. The set for men and women is particularly light, breathable and yet very warm.
Both the jacket and the trousers are made of a technical 3-layer construction with taped seams, which is particularly weatherproof to give you the best possible protection against cold, wet and wind. With a 20,000 mm water column, you can be on the move in snow and rain without worrying.
The Strom EVO jacket also impresses with features such as reflective elements, a helmet-compatible hood and waterproof zips. The trousers also offer practical features that are specially designed for activities in the snow. These include, for example, Cordura® edge protection at the leg cuffs and full-length 2-way zips at the side for additional ventilation.
Marmolada – Eye catching designs
Functionality is always at the forefront of ski touring clothing. But that doesn't mean that the design can't also be convincing. Karpos proves this with the jackets and trousers of the Marmolada series. Colour blocking and bright colours give the line a modern look that immediately catches the eye.
Of course, the Marmolada jackets and trousers also have all the qualities that make them the right choice for ski tours with challenging ascents. For this, they are constructed from different materials designed for breathability, warmth and weather protection.
The lower part of the Marmolada jacket, the top of the sleeves and the hood are made of waterproof material with a 20,000 mm water column and 41,000 g/m2/24h breathability. The rest of the jacket is made of wind-resistant ripstop material with a DWR finish, while the inside is made of fleece for cosy warmth.
Auch bei der Marmolada Hose setzt Karpos auf so eine Konstruktion. Hier bestehen Rückenoberteil, Vordertaschen und Unterschenkel aus dem wasserdichten Material mit 20.000 mm Wassersäule und der Rest aus Ripstop-Material mit DWR-Ausrüstung.
Karpos also uses such a construction for the Marmolada pants. Here, the back upper part, front pockets and lower legs are made of the waterproof material with 20,000 mm water column and the rest is made of ripstop material with DWR finish.

Alagna – Variety for winter sports enthusiasts
The Alagna line by Karpos is a constantly growing collection for winter sports enthusiasts that includes jackets, trousers as well as baselayers and accessories. The individual items can be combined with each other as well as with other lines and match each other both visually and functionally. This makes Alagna particularly versatile and above all practical.
For the autumn and winter season 22/23'the line has been further optimised and expanded with new colour options. Particularly practical for ski tourers, for example, are the Alagna Plus EVO jackets, trousers, waistcoats and skirts, which are made for both challenging ascents and fast descents. For this, Karpos relies on a hybrid structure made of highly breathable and insulating materials.
