New Smith products for the slopes
This winter, the US brand Smith is launching several new products on the market. In addition to two new ski goggles, the Method ski helmet with Koroyd is one of the absolute highlights. We take a closer look at the newcomers.
The Method Helmet: Minimalistic, but packed with features
The Method is the newest member of Smith’s helmet family. The lifestyle-forward model offers you all the features and comfort you need for your snow adventures.
The MIPS-equipped model is further fortified with Koroyd, a shock-absorbing technology with a special structure. It has significantly less elasticity than EPS foam, which lowers the risk of injury. Upon impact, any energy-absorbing material gives back a bit of energy due to its elastic behaviour. A lower elasticity means that the rebound effect is minimized. Here you can find out more about Koroyd’s energy-absorbing qualities and features.
Additionally, Smith’s Method helmet shines with features such as eight vents for improved airflow, removable Snapfit SL2 ear pads for added warmth, as well as a removable goggle strap lock in case you want to wear your goggles under the helmet.
Fit is a major factor when choosing a helmet. The Method sports a self-adjusting lifestyle fit system, which flexes to match the shape of your head. For rounder head shapes, the model is also available in a Round Contour Fit.
Of course, the Method helmet is perfectly compatible with all Smith goggles to create a comfortable and protective unit for your skiing adventures.

Blazer & Rallye Goggles: Streamline Your Perspective
For the winter season 23/24 Smith introduces two new ski goggle models: The Blazer & The Rally. Both are highly functional, but made for different fits.
Blazer has a medium fit, while Rally has been designed for a smaller one.
However, the two goggles also have a lot in common. Both are equipped with cylindrical Carbonic-x lenses for more clarity and impact resistance with built-in Airflow technology, for example. Additionally, they feature two-layer DriWix face foam, which wicks moisture for a fog-free skiing experience. They both also come with a responsive fit frame to adjust to your face for a precise and comfortable fit.
Overall, the Smith Blazer and the Smith Rally ski goggles are a good choice for all skiers, who look for equipment that helps them maximize their view on the slopes, while staying on comfortably for hours.
