FALKE founded the FALKE ERGONOMIC SPORT SYSTEM (ESS) brand in 1996 with the aim of transferring its many years of knitting expertise to the field of sports biomechanics.
FALKE ESS was developed in collaboration with sports scientists and is specifically tailored to the anatomical needs of skiing to provide unrestricted freedom of movement, optimal climatic conditions and ultimate support so that athletes experience comfort while performing at their best. The slogan "Move Better, Feel Better, Perform Better" takes centre stage.
Three promises of quality
Ergonomic fit
FALKE ESS ski socks are knitted on highly specialised machines to achieve the optimum ergonomic fit, which is adapted to the specific anatomical needs of the foot. There is a right and left toe box for a perfect fit and the female models are specially adapted to narrower feet.
The ski underwear from FALKE ESS, which is adapted to athletic activities, also ensures maximum freedom of movement. Thanks to the seamless knitting technique, unpleasant chafing is also avoided.
Climate control
FALKE's unique 3-layer construction of ski socks keeps your feet dry and blister-free, no matter how long you're chasing down the slopes.
With their unique two-layer construction, FALKE's functional base layers also promise you a dry and comfortable feeling at all times. The Warm and Maximum Warm models are made from a robust and quick-drying polyamide blend. Wool-Tech and Wool-Tech Light, on the other hand, contain natural thermo-regulating merino wool with odour-inhibiting properties.
Performance Cushioning
The FALKE ESS ski socks are equipped with maximum to ultra-light padding to provide you with comfort and direct power transmission. The sport-specific stress zones are optimally protected.
The ski underwear from FALKE ESS also offers functionalities to optimally support your athletic performance. The insulating knitted structures keep you warm at low intensity in extremely low temperatures, while the ventilation channels ensure a cosy climate at high intensity.

SK2: The all-rounder ski sock made from a merino wool blend by FALKE is perfect for hobby skiers. The medium padding ensures comfort, protection and balanced boot contact. An optimum fit as well as heat and moisture regulation are of course also guaranteed.
SK4 Advanced: The models with extra-light padding are aimed at advanced skiers who rely on custom-fit boots with special pre-moulded inserts in the inner boot. The ski socks enable direct power transmission and high control for the best possible performance. The merino wool blend, on the other hand, provides the highly insulating, warming and odour-inhibiting properties of the SK4 ski socks.
