Born out of a passion for climbing and the idea of creating more stretchy climbing apparel, Chillaz took its name from "chillen" and the "Zillertal" climbing area. For 25 years now, the company has been focused on quality, innovation, and sustainable production – much of it in Europe, using long-lasting fibers like TENCEL™ and details such as chalk bags made of paper instead of plastic. Deep know-how in fabrics and fibers, paired with a keen sense of design, has resulted in functional climbing apparel, practical gear, and everyday clothing. The range also works for hikers and mountaineers – basically for anyone who loves being active in nature.
