Ortlieb Rack-pack 31L

"Versatile backpack with 31L volume, ideal for travel and everyday use, reliably protects against dust and splash water."

"The Ortlieb Rack-pack 31L combines the advantages of an easy-care pannier with the flexibility of a backpack and is the ideal companion for traveling, everyday life and urban adventures. With a generous volume of 31 liters, it offers enough space for everything you need on the go. Thanks to its variable size, it can be easily adapted to different requirements and is therefore perfect for bike tours, where it can be conveniently transported in a trailer. Alternatively, it can also be combined on the luggage carrier with the ORTLIEB Back and Sport rollers from the Plus and Classic series."
"The Rack-pack is not only suitable for bicycles, but is also a reliable partner on a motorcycle. Its robust design and IP 64 protection class ensure that your luggage is protected from dust and splash water. The padded, adjustable shoulder strap and padded carrying handles offer a high level of carrying comfort, even when the backpack is fully loaded. This unisex model is ideal for anyone who values flexibility and comfort in an urban environment as well as for leisure activities."

The essentials

A good fit if you want to combine a travel bag with your Back- or Sport-Rollers

Our take

For bike trips, the Rack-Pack can be combined with Back- or Sport-Rollers on the pannier rack. Away from the bike, you carry the bag by its padded shoulder strap or handles. The roll-top closure needs three to four rolls to achieve the stated splash protection.
