The North Face Mountain 25

The Mountain 25 two-person tent from The North Face is a true classic of the Summit Series™ and a proven companion for demanding mountaineers. This tent has proven to be extremely reliable in storms, heavy snowfall and extremely cold temperatures. Made from durable nylon with ripstop fabric in the canopy, it features a water-repellent coating on both the flysheet and floor to keep out light rain and moisture.
With a total weight of only 4.45 kg and a minimum weight of 2.86 kg, the Mountain 25 is light enough for all activities where weight is a decisive factor. The tent features reflective details for increased visibility at dusk and high strength reflective guylines with equalizers at multiple attachment points. The DAC poles and pegs offer an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, and the construction withstands even hurricane-force winds.
Thanks to the combination of pole channels and clips, pitching is quick and easy, even in bad weather. Inside, the tent offers numerous storage options, including eight inner pockets and storage pockets for the tent entrances as well as many internal hanging loops. The double doors with poleentry on the front vestibule and the highlowvent with multiple venting options provide additional comfort. The PUwindow is cold-tested to -60°F/-51°C, and four snowpegs are included to anchor the tent securely in the snow.
With a floor area of 2.72 m² and a maximum height of 104 cm, the Mountain 25 offers enough space for two people and their equipment. The option to pitch only the flysheet tent further increases the versatility of this tent. Welded reinforcements at critical points on the flysheet provide additional durability and longevity.
