The two rubberstability lamellae offer an unparalleled level of braking, even on difficult surfaces such as scree or loose rock. The soft Lycralining on the collar guarantees a comfortable fit without abrasion.
With the XO-Shield sole and Vibram® Litebase Megagrip™ technology, the shoe offers unparalleled grip and durability without adding weight or bulk. The anatomically shaped Ortholite® footbed ensures long-lasting comfort and is highly breathable. In addition, the Magma 2.0 S GTX WS is part of the Vibram "Repair If You Care" project, which means that it can be resoled and therefore used sustainably.

The exclusive sole profile of the multi-traction outsole, inspired by the MTB enduro tire design, is equipped with Vibram® Litebase™ technology. The Megagrip™ rubber compound offers optimum grip on all surfaces, in both wet and dry conditions. The outsole wraps the upper material in critical abrasion zones, offering protection and eliminating the need for a conventional bonded rubber rand.DOWNHILL COMFORT
To provide comfort on fast downhill sections, the Magma 2.0 has a molded EVA midsole with high rebound that absorbs heavy impacts and an extra-large heel area that provides great stability when hiking or on descents and challenging traverses. Rubber stabilizing elements on both sides of the heel allow for extremely controlled braking.
