Correct use of the Tatonka rescue blanket
The Tatonka rescue blanket protects against hypothermia, wetness or wind, for example when the weather drops on outdoortours and hikes. To maintain a person's own body heat, the silver side must be turned inwards. Warmth is not generated by insulation, but by reflecting the heat radiation from the body. If a person is to be protected from overheating, the golden side is turned inwards. But be careful: Do not wrap the person! Rather, the rescue blanket should then be used as a kind of sun protection sail.
