The PS8 Red from Swix is the ideal glide wax for ambitious ski tours and intensive training. It offers excellent performance at temperatures from -4°C to +4°C and therefore covers both sides of zero perfectly. With its special formulation, it is not only affordable, but also particularly user-friendly, as it has a low melting point and is easy to work with. This makes it an excellent choice for base preparation and as a base wax.
This wax is available in a practical 900-gram pack containing five 180-gram blocks, ideal for anyone who needs to prepare their skis regularly. The application is simple: The speed of the waxing iron should be about 8-10 seconds for a skating or alpine ski to achieve an optimal wax layer. After cooling down to room temperature, the wax can be reheated to extend its durability, whereby a recommended waxing iron temperature of 130°C must be observed.
