Swix HS5 Turquoise, -10°C/-18°C, 180g

The HS5 Turquoise glide wax from Swix is the hardest wax in the High Speed series and has been specially developed for cold temperatures between -10°C and -18°C. It is aimed at younger racers and ambitious recreational skiers who value high performance and durability. Perfect for urban & work activities, it significantly improves the gliding properties of your skis, whether in alpine skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing. Thanks to its fluorine-free and 100% biodegradable formula, it is environmentally friendly and still offers excellent dry-friction properties.
HS5 is easier to apply than many other waxes for cold conditions due to its lower melting point. A good waxing iron is important to melt the wax efficiently. The application is very simple: Apply at a speed of 8-10 seconds with the waxing iron, allow to cool and then scrape off with a Plexiglas scraper. For better durability, the wax can be reheated after cooling. It is suitable both as a stand-alone racing wax and as a base for other racing products.
HS5 has been thoroughly tested under various conditions and has proven to be a reliable product that is suitable for both training and competition. It is available both as a solid glide wax and in liquid form, offering flexibility for different preferences and conditions.
