Swix HS5 Turquoise, -10°C/-18°C, 180g

The HS5 Turquoise from Swix is an outstanding glide wax designed specifically for cold conditions. It is part of the High Speed series and is ideal for younger racers and ambitious recreational skiers. With its outstanding durability and excellent dry friction properties, it delivers optimal performance at temperatures between -10°C and -18°C.
Thanks to its lower melting point, the wax is easy to apply without compromising glide performance. It is versatile and suitable for alpine skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Whether it’s fresh snow, transformed snow, or artificial snow, the HS5 Turquoise is the ideal choice for a smooth glide.
Application is straightforward: The wax is applied with a waxing iron at approximately 160°C. A speed of 8–10 seconds per ski is recommended. For improved durability, the wax can be reheated after it has cooled. It can be used both as a standalone racing wax and as a base for other products.
