The facts at a glance
Smith Counter J Mips
The Smith Counter J Mips is a state-of-the-art ski helmet designed specifically for young skiers. Equipped with advanced ABS technology, it offers enhanced impact protection and exceptional durability. The innovative Zonal KOROYD® technology provides lightweight, energy-absorbing, and well-ventilated protection that optimally safeguards the head. A specially developed EPP foam core increases durability in areas subject to repeated impacts, making the helmet particularly long-lasting.
Another highlight is the Mips® Brain Protection System, which reduces the rotational forces that can be caused by oblique impacts to the head. This provides additional protection and safety on the slopes. The helmet is certified to the ASTM F 2040, CE EN 1077:2007 Class A, and FIS RH 2013 standards, which underscores its high quality and reliability.
For maximum comfort, the helmet integrates seamlessly with Smith products, providing first-class ventilation. The antimicrobial Ionic+® lining offers sweat-activated odor control, further enhancing comfort. The helmet is also compatible with a separately available slalom chin guard, making it ideal for race days. Weighing just 700 g (size M, MIPS®), it is exceptionally lightweight and comfortable to wear.
