Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) is a PVC-free material used in a number of functional areas of Sea to Summit products:

This product has been tested to be waterproof to a water pressure equivalent to a depth of 10 meters for up to 1 hour when properly closed. The IPX8 rating is not a guarantee that an electronic device stored in a Sea to Summit product will withstand such pressure. More information about international protection ratings can be found here.

This product is free from polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This means that the production process is much more environmentally friendly and the disposal of the product at the end of its life does not harm the environment.
