The lightweight and durable hard anodized aluminum alloy is used for Frontier cookware and Frontier cutlery. Anodizing creates a hard protective layer on the surface of the aluminum that prevents damage. The excellent heat transfer properties of aluminum are particularly advantageous for cookware. For Detour stainless steel cookware, hard-anodized aluminium is used for the handle attachment. Anodized products are not dishwasher-safe.
Click Safe Handle
The Click-Safe handle is made of sturdy stainless steel and locks into place on a pot or pan with a h"click". Once it is properly attached, you can safely lift and carry the pot or pan, regardless of the contents. As a non-slip handle significantly increases the functionality of the cookware, every pot or pan has a Click Safe Handle - even the smallest/lightest models.
