The lightweight and durable hard anodized aluminum alloy is used for Frontier cookware and Frontier cutlery. Anodizing creates a hard protective layer on the surface of the aluminum that prevents damage. The excellent heat transfer properties of aluminum are particularly advantageous for cookware. For Detour stainless steel cookware, hard-anodized aluminium is used for the handle attachment. Anodized products are not dishwasher-safe.Food Grade Heat Resistant Silicone (Dinnerware)
The heat-resistant silicone of the Frontier and Detour tableware has been tested to EU and FDA food standards and is characterized by very low absorption and emission. It is also heat resistant up to 150°C (300ºF) and will not crack in cold temperatures.
