It is also heat-resistant up to 150u00b0C (300u00baF) and does not break at cold temperatures. The heat resistant silicone of the Frontier and Detour cookware is also certified to EU and FDA food standards, heat resistant up to 225u00b0C (440u00baF) and will not break at cold temperatures, making it a durable tool for cooking in all environments.Hard Anodized Aluminum
The lightweight and durable hard anodized aluminum alloy is used for Frontier cookware and Frontier cutlery. Anodizing creates a hard protective layer on the surface of the aluminum that prevents damage. The excellent heat transfer properties of aluminum are particularly advantageous for cookware.
