Technologies and manufacturing processes
420D Waterproof Fabric
This tough, durable material is used in our Big River Dry Bags, Big River Dry Backpacks and our Bikepack Tent Bags. A 420-denier nylon outer is bonded to a bright white TPU lining, resulting in a 10,000 mm waterproof rating. The soft inside makes it easier to find small items of equipment inside the Big River bags. The outside of the 420D fabric has a very light, non-PFAS PU coating that helps to wick away moisture.Non-PFAS
Sea to Summit Dry Bags, Stuff Sacks and Compression Bags have a non-PFAS, durable water repellent coating that repels water. Big River bags use a non-PFAS PU coating.
