Salewa Trek Mate 50+5 W

The Trek Mate 50+5 W by Salewa is the ideal companion for long weekends and multi-day trekking tours where you always want to carry all your equipment with you. The backpack features an easily adjustable Dry Back Custom carrying system that adapts perfectly to any back. Thanks to the padded EVA back panel and 3Dventilation channels, air circulation and breathability on the back is supported in both summer and winter. The split shoulder straps ensure maximum freedom of movement, while the adjustable back length, anatomically shaped and padded shoulder straps, lumbar support and hip belt ensure an optimal fit. Position-adjustable straps and pre-shaped hip fins distribute the weight evenly across your hips, which significantly improves comfort on long journeys.
The Trek Mate is made from lightweight, abrasion-resistant Double-Ripstop polyester and has a reinforced bottom. Large storage compartments provide ample space for a change of clothes or tent poles, and a separate front compartment allows quick access to the main compartment. The height-adjustable lid offers an additional 5 liters of storage space, ideal for larger trekking tents. Practical Daisy-Chain loops and additional straps allow you to stow sleeping mats and other equipment on the outside of the backpack, creating more space inside.
The backpack is equipped with a protected zipper compartment for valuables and various external attachment options for trekking poles. It is also compatible with the Salewa water bottle holder (product code 1303) and the smartphone pouch (product code 1305). A waterproof rain cover is also available and is stowed in a dedicated pocket. All materials in the backpack are PFC-free and meet the high requirements of the SALEWA® Committed Standard.
