Salewa Litetrek Pro III Tent

The Litetrek Pro III tent by Salewa is a very light, robust and reliable 3 person tent that has been specially developed for alpine trekking. It offers a self-supporting construction that is ideal for rocky terrain where guylines are lacking. This double-wall tent is perfect for use in three seasons in milder temperatures and can withstand wind speeds of up to 90 km/h according to wind tunnel measurements by the Technical University of Munich.
Thanks to the semigeodesicconstruction, the Litetrek Pro III offers the optimum balance between weather protection and weight without restricting the space inside. The outer tent is made from tear-resistant 20D ripstop nylon with a silicone and PU coating and has a water column of 3,000 mm, while the groundsheet is made from robust 40D nylon ripstop with a PU coating and a water column of 10,000 mm. The inner tent is made of 20D nylon ripstop and has a mesh-material entrance with integrated mosquito net.
For better ventilation, the rear panel can be opened from the inside and outside with zippers to regulate the fresh air supply and avoid moisture inside. The 3S Speed Set Up solution with short, flat pole channels and hooks enables quick and easy setup. Another highlight of the Litetrek Pro III is its versatility: the weatherproof vestibule integrated into the inner tent can be used as storage space for luggage or as a cooking area and can be extended if required.
