Salewa Litetrek III Tent

The Litetrek III is a 3-person double-wall tent designed for alpine trekking, where weather protection, stability, weight, and pack size are top priorities. It is suitable for 3-season use in milder temperatures and, according to wind tunnel tests conducted by the Technical University of Munich, can withstand wind speeds of up to 90 km/h. The robust and reliable semi-geodesic double-wall construction offers the optimal balance between weather protection and ventilation. It also provides ample interior space. Thanks to its 100% self-supporting design, the tent can be easily pitched in rocky terrain without the need for guy lines. For added flexibility, the anchor points can also be extended. The tear-resistant 50D ripstop nylon outer flysheet is silicone- and PU-coated, achieving a 3,000 mm water column; the floor is made of durable PU-coated 70D ripstop nylon with a 5,000 mm water column. The inner tent, made of 66D ripstop polyester, features a mesh entrance with an integrated mosquito net. For better ventilation, the rear panel can be opened from the inside and outside with zippers, allowing you to regulate the flow of fresh air and prevent moisture buildup inside. The 3S Speed Set Up system, with short, flat pole channels and hooks, allows for quick and easy setup. In good weather and warm temperatures, the outer tent can even be set up by one person. The biggest advantage of the Litetrek Pro III is its versatility: The weatherproof and sheltered vestibule, integrated into the outer tent, can be used as storage space for gear or as a cooking area. It can be expanded as needed.
