The LAKENE is a favorite of ROECKL SPORTS World Cup athletes and fulfils any and all wishes Nordic sports enthusiasts may have. What’s more, its high content of regenerated materials has earned it the “High Recycling Ratio” seal. The backhand, which is particularly exposed during cross-country skiing, is made from elastic, PFC-free ROECK-PROOF® ECO Denali softshell, making this slip-in glove windproof, water-repellent and breathable. This four-way stretch material consists of 87% recycled polyester and 13% spandex and is silky smooth on the outside. The inside is soft and napped like fleece, which is why the material was simply reversed for the soft-wipe thumb. The main insulation properties come from the super-warm PrimaLoft® Gold with CrossCore™ technology featuring aerogels used in the aerospace industry. They make it possible to design gloves with an extremely favorable ratio of volume to weight to heat retention. On the palm, the robust, micro-perforated ROECK-AIR really comes into its own. It is thin, soft, breathable, provides a good grip and efficiently wicks moisture away from the skin. For an even more comfortable and tactile grip on the pole, it has been pulled up and over the edge of the hand. In addition, it has been laminated with a warm ECO Stretch fleece lining consisting of 87% recycled polyester to prevent the layers from slipping. Thanks to the long, warm cuff – Lycra on the outside, elastic tape with a fluffy surface on the inside – the LAKENE is exceptionally comfortable to wear. Classic: the color combination black and gray. Sporty: the colorway black/white with flashy green. Visual highlights are added by the reflective tape and prominent ROECKL logo. This performance model is machine-washable at 30 °C (86 °F).
