An integrated rain cover made from Bluesign® certified fabrics and DWR coatings without PFAS ensures that you are well equipped for any weather. The rain cover is stowed in a practical zippered pocket at the bottom of the backpack. The AirScape™ back system with its ribbed foam construction and meshcover provides excellent ventilation and keeps the load close to the body. In addition, the LightWire back system ensures that the load is efficiently transferred from the harness to the hip belt, while the Atilon back plate distributes the load evenly.
The Kestrel 58 is equipped with numerous functional details, including an internal hydration bladder compartment with Hydraclip, an insert pocket with stretchmeshinserts, as well as two loop strapsfunctions and compression straps for trekking poles or ice axes. Sleeping bags can also be transported thanks to the height-adjustable sleeping bag compartment with zipper. The Stow-on-the-Go attachment allows trekking poles to be stowed away quickly and easily, while the padded SpacerMesh hip belt ensures a high level of comfort.
