Ortlieb Trunk-bag Adapter
The Ortlieb Trunk-Bag Adapter is the ideal solution for anyone who wants to make their bike tours or trips more efficient. This adapter allows for easy mounting of the Travel-Biker or Trunk-Bag on a second bicycle, provided it is equipped with the ORTLIEB adapter from 06/2004 through 2015. In addition, it can be used to attach a rear bike basket to the rack. To do this, you’ll also need the mounting plate for the rear bike basket (Item No. E160).
With the Trunk-bag Adapter, you can also securely and conveniently attach bicycle panniers to the sides using the Quick-Lock Systems 1, 2, 2.1, and 2.2. Another advantage is that the adapter is lockable, providing additional security. Please note, however, that this adapter is not suitable for e-bikes with a battery located under the rack, nor for bags equipped with a Rack-Lock adapter.
