Lofoten 1 and 2 both offer the option of separating the fly from the inner tent and pitching each separately using the same pole. The adapted loops of Lofoten's NFSS act as a pole channel and the foot pole, when inverted, serves as a single attachment option. The loops needed for this are included in the bonus package. Since the outer tent fits both the 1 person and 2 person inner tents, you can easily increase or decrease the size of the Lofoten by adding an additional inner tent, which is sold separately. By adding an additional pole set, you then have multiple ready-to-use Lofoten systems.
