MSR Front Range

The Front Range is so compact and lightweight that it hardly weighs a thing. It can be set up and taken down quickly and offers sufficient protection for up to four people on alpine hikes and ski trips in all seasons. This highly versatile and particularly simple shelter is extremely lightweight and thanks to Xtreme Shield™ coating particularly robust. Whether you want to enjoy the longer days outdoors in spring or need a base camp in winter, the ultra-light Front Range ensures unadulterated fun. The separately available inner tent with floor offers additional protection from moisture and insects.

Features:

Light as a feather: Extremely efficient tarpaulin tent for four people, also suitable for two people thanks to the low weight. With practical gable height of 1.62 m.
Quick assembly: Frameless construction without base, can be set up with ski or trekking poles or (sold separately) 152 cm poles. Ski loops make it easy to set up.
Easy access: The zippered door rolls back on both sides to provide a clear view of the outside and make it easier to enter.
Versatile: Light enough to fit in any pack and serve as a shelter, dining room or emergency shelter. Can be used with optional inner tent with groundsheet sold separately for protection from moisture and insects.
Durable: The steep canopy lets snow and rain slide off. It is waterproof and particularly robust thanks to the Xtreme coating.
