The Kryos Long by Mountain Equipment is an outstanding sleeping bag designed specifically for demanding expeditions and alpine climbing. The sleeping bag is filled with 743 g of high-quality, DOWN CODEX-certified goose down, which offers an impressive fill power of at least 800 cuin. The DRILITE® Loft 10D outer fabric is not only ultralight but also highly breathable and water-repellent, making the Kryos ideal for use in damp and cold conditions.
The redesigned EXL® system offers exceptional comfort and warmth, featuring a snug fit of the inner lining. This technology reduces unnecessary air pockets and maximizes the loft of the down, while the trapezoidal chamber construction prevents the down from shifting and optimizes the warmth-to-weight ratio. The anatomically shaped hood with seven chambers and the thermal collar ensure even heat distribution over long periods of time. The Kryos also features a unique thermal collar design with a Gemini™ zipper system that minimizes heat loss, as well as a magnetic Lode Lock™ closure for easy operation.
The “Good Night’s Sleep” temperature of -20 °C makes the Kryos Long the warmest sleeping bag in the series, as confirmed by lab tests and feedback from athletes.
