The innovative Matryx® upper combines sturdy Kevlar multifilament yarns with high-strength polyamide into a single, lightweight layer of material. This construction offers exceptional breathability and abrasion resistance while minimizing stretch. As a result, the shoe retains its shape and remains durable even with intensive use.
The MTL Skyfire 2’s eco-friendly materials are another plus: laces made from 100% recycled material and a tongue strap made from 60% recycled fibers highlight the shoe’s sustainable design. The breathable mesh lining and the temperature-regulating 37.5® mesh on the footbed ensure a comfortable foot environment, even during long runs.
The two-part, dual-density FloatPro™ foam midsole provides optimal comfort and protection with every step. This is supported by the high-performance Vibram MegaGrip outsole, which guarantees unmatched traction on wet and dry surfaces with its 5-mm lugs. With a 6-mm heel-to-toe drop and a weight of just 210 g per shoe, the MTL Skyfire 2 is perfectly designed for fast movements and challenging trails.
