The use of recycled Swedish stainless steel and aluminum in its construction not only ensures a long service life but also significantly reduces its carbon footprint.
The blade is made of stainless steel and is firmly anchored in the aluminum profile, ensuring reliable and solid performance. The Torne BC is equipped with a Rottefella Backcountry binding featuring an extra-stiff flex, ideal for Nordic skating. The product is delivered sharpened, so it is ready to use right away.
With two different length options—41 cm for shoe sizes 36–40 and 44 cm for shoe sizes 41–45—the skate adapts perfectly to the wearer’s foot size. The blade width of 1.4 mm is perfectly suited to the natural ice conditions in Scandinavia. Particularly noteworthy is the Torne BC’s environmental friendliness: it is 100% recyclable and is manufactured in Sweden using sustainable production methods. Weighing 650 g per pair for a 41 cm length and 700 g per pair for a 44 cm length without bindings, the Torne BC offers an ideal balance between lightness and durability.
