This technical revision of the popular Akasha shoe from the Mountain Running® line is specifically designed for long distance running, ultramarathons and ultra trails. The shoe offers exceptional comfort thanks to excellent cushioning and a Cushion Platform™ footbed, while the more generous inner volume ensures a comfortable feel.
The breathable, soft upper with Slip-on construction minimizes pressure points and ensures a smooth fit. The rear Dynamic ProTechTion™ reinforcements provide additional protection and support the natural movement of the foot without constricting. The FriXion® Red sole with its dual compound and innovative Trail Rocker™ technology promotes a natural heel-to-toe roll while providing excellent grip.
The environmentally friendly aspect of the shoe is particularly noteworthy: both the laces and the Ortholite® Hybrid footbed are made from recycled material. The Akasha II combines protection, comfort and cushioning, making it the perfect companion for intensive sporting activities.
