The tent fabric is coated with silicone on both sides, which reduces the tent’s weight while increasing its tear resistance and UV resistance. This coating requires special care: A water-reactive thread ensures that the seams seal when wet; however, it is recommended to additionally treat the seams with a silicone seam sealer. This guarantees optimal waterproofing and the longevity of the material.
Special caution is required when using gas or other combustion devices inside a tent. Additional ventilation is necessary to ensure safety. Hot appliances should never be placed near the tent walls, the roof, or the curtains.
