Jack Wolfskin Stratos Lite II

The STRATOS LITE II is a super-lightweight dome tent with two vestibules and plenty of room for two people. It is made predominantly from recycled materials.

The inner tent is breathable and is connected to the flysheet. The interconnected DAC aluminium poles make the tent quick to pitch and ensure good wind stability. Very few pegs are required to anchor the tent.

The flysheet fabric is coated with silicone on both sides. This reduces the weight significantly and increases the tear resistance and UV resistance of the fabric.

Since conventional seam tape does not adhere well to silicon coated (tent) fabrics, we have instead used a special yarn that expands when damp to seal the seams. However, we would also recommend applying an appropriate silicone sealant (available online) to the relevant seams.
