Care instructions
- Airing laundry instead of washing saves water and energy and extends the life of the garment. Be sure to wash your shell if it has been used in salt water or has become very sweaty or dirty, as this will weaken the garment's performance. This can reduce the breathability of the fabric and damage the water repellent surface. The dirt can even allow moisture to seep through the fabric.
- Use our wash bagz to protect your clothes and prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure you clean it and throw the lint in the trash can. Never rinse it in water, as we don't want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
- Machine wash cold
- There are special detergents for shells, but mild detergents certified as environmentally friendly work just as well. Use the right dose.
- Avoid fabric softener. This is not only harmful to our environment, but also negatively affects the performance of clothing, especially moisture transport and breathability.
- Hang the shell out to dry. Just remember to apply heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water repellent surface of the shell fabric. Use a drying cabinet, dryer or iron. Make sure that the heat is well dosed so that the garment does not melt.
- You can reapply or reinforce the water repellent treatment as needed with a wash or spray. Always use an organic DWR: You can find both a spray and a wash in the webshop or in our stores.
- Remember to apply heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water-repellent surface of the fabric.
Technologies and manufacturing processes
Recycled
Mindestens 50% der Fasern in diesem Produkt stammen aus recycelten Quellen. Entweder aus recycelter Bekleidung oder anderem Ursprung, wie aus PET Flaschen. The material of this product is fully recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the raw material can be used for new products. Our goal is to remove no more new raw materials from the earth's crust by 2030. Circular products made from recycled or recyclable materials can truly change the game of manufacturing culture. We need your help, though. If your Houdini apparel is completely worn out, please bring it back to us. We have recycling units in all of our own stores and at many of our retailers.

How to measure
- 1. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 4. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
