Helly Hansen Alpine SAR 45 Backpack
The Alpine SAR 45 backpack from Helly Hansen is the ideal companion for demanding outdoor adventures. Developed in collaboration with Norway’s largest volunteer search and rescue organization, this backpack offers maximum functionality and durability. Made from rugged 500D Oxford Cordura nylon and 400D SD Ripstop nylon, it withstands the toughest conditions and reliably protects your gear. The spacious Spindrift collar not only provides additional storage space but also allows for quick access to the main compartment, which opens fully thanks to a J-shaped zipper.
A well-designed pocket system ensures that you can organize your gear perfectly. From a special avalanche safety pocket to an internal hydration bladder compartment—everything has its place. The backpack is also equipped with a dual ice axe carrying system and a helmet holder, making it perfect for mountaineering and ski touring. The adjustable aluminum and PE frame plate, together with a padded hip belt, ensures high comfort even when carrying heavy loads.
Reflective details, such as the SOLAS reflective strips and mounting points for radios, enhance safety in low-visibility conditions. With the Alpine SAR 45, you’ll be perfectly equipped for your next adventures in the mountains or on challenging hikes.
