The large zippered pockets on the padded hip belt are particularly practical, allowing quick access to a smartphone or other important items. The perforated, breathable shoulder straps are equipped with a chest strap and an integrated signal whistle, which provides additional safety and stability. The robust light metal frame with cross braces guarantees stable load distribution and torsional flexibility, while the lower sleeping bag compartment and durable mesh pockets provide additional organization and storage space.
The Stout 45 RC also features a hydration system compatible with Gregory Hydro containers, an extra-large stretch mesh pocket on the front and comes with an integrated rain cover that can be stowed in a zippered pocket under the lid.
