Thanks to the four duckbill valves, backflow of water or other beverages is prevented, while at the same time a smooth flow through the cartridge is ensured. The valve is easy to remove and clean, making maintenance between uses simple. It is machine washable and can either be cleaned by hand with warm soapy water or washed in the dishwasher.
The Ultrapress Disposable Valve is not only functional, but also made from BPA-free, food-grade silicone materials. It is compatible with any UltraPressu00ae or UltraLightu00ae cleaning cartridge and was designed in the USA and manufactured in China. With a weight of only 10 grams and a compact size, it is the perfect companion for on the go.

- Four duckbill valves prevent water (or other beverages) from flowing back through the cartridge while allowing clean, filtered water to flow through the cartridge into the inner press.
- Easy to remove for maintenance and use between uses. Dry a wet cartridge thoroughly by squeezing it into an empty (waterless) drain cup and then draining the excess water. Remove the one-way valve and allow the cartridge to air dry (depending on the humidity, it will take 2-4 days to dry completely). Clean and dry the one-way valve and reassemble the GeoPress bottle.
- The one-way valve is dishwasher safe. Wash the valve regularly between uses to remove odor and residue left by powders or other beverages. Wash it by hand with warm soapy water or put it in the dishwasher. Do not allow the cartridge to come into contact with soap or cleaning agents of any kind.
