The Black Ice 45 is a minimalist and feather-light roll-topbackpack that meets the high demands of modern alpinism. Sophisticated features combined with a clear and simple design make this backpack the ideal companion for alpineand expedition use. The larger volume also offers enough space for multi-day tours. The revised Black Ice has an even more purist look. The high-quality, waterproof ripstop nylon protects against moisture with a water column of 10,000 mm. Minimal daisy chains offer a variety of fastening options. A new arrangement of ice axe loops makes it easier to attach ice tools. An externally accessible zipper- and an inner pocket offer space for smaller items. The carrying system is minimalist and clear. A removable foam pad provides additional padding and can be used as a seat mat in a bivouac. The slim and compact shape ensures direct load transfer and a removable hip belt provides more support when carrying. In addition, the Black Ice 45 is equipped with lightweight, padded and removable hip pads.
