The facts at a glance
Edelrid Revolt
The REVOLT by Edelrid is a versatile technical ice axe designed specifically for challenging ski tours and mountaineering adventures. It stands out for its light weight and compact size, making it ideal for use on steep terrain. The tool’s ergonomically shaped head features a 4-mm pick specifically designed for technical ice climbing. This pick offers excellent stability and efficiency and allows for easy handling thanks to its generous carabiner slot.
The shaft of the REVOLT is made of anodized aluminum and is slightly curved to ensure optimal handling. The sandblasted surface provides a secure grip, while the grooves at the bottom of the shaft offer additional traction. A spike-like tip with an integrated cap prevents snow from entering and improves the device’s performance in winter conditions.
Of particular note is the REVOLT’s compatibility with all technical attachments for EDELRID ice axes, which allows for customization to suit various applications. The package also includes a finger rest and an Allen wrench, which further enhance comfort and ease of use. This ice axe is the perfect choice for anyone who demands the highest standards from their equipment and navigates challenging terrain.
