Edelrid Rage Ice

The Rage Ice by Edelrid is a highly specialized ice axe designed specifically for challenging ice routes. It offers impressive ergonomics thanks to its specially shaped handle with a finger hole, which allows for precise control and effective striking. The handle can be individually adjusted using the included spacer, which is particularly advantageous for those with smaller hands or when climbing with thin gloves. A TPR material provides optimal grip on both the upper and lower parts of the handle.
The hardened steel waterfall pick is characterized by its minimal impact and, in combination with the aggressive shaft curvature, ensures secure positioning of the device in all situations. An optional accelerator can increase the swing mass, and the device is compatible with all Edelrid technical accessories, with the exception of the Revolt Blade. The aluminum spike is extremely robust and can support a load of up to 6 kN, providing additional safety.
Another practical feature is the recess at the head, which is suitable even for large carabiners, as well as the Allen wrench included in the package. The Rage Ice comes with a Hammer Lite, which, however, is not suitable for driving in ice screws. This ice axe is the perfect choice for unisex adventurers who demand the highest standards from their gear—whether hiking, rock climbing, or ice climbing.
