The Storm 500-R headlamp from Black Diamond is the perfect companion for adventurous explorations, whatever the weather. This means that it can be operated for up to 30 minutes in one meter of water without the need for maintenance. The headlamp is equipped with a rechargeable BD 2400 lithium-ion battery, which is conveniently charged via a micro-USB connection.
A particular highlight is the sustainable elastic headband, which is made from recycled Repreve fabric and is therefore environmentally friendly. The ergonomic shape of the housing and the intuitive twobutton control element make it quick and easy to select the various modes. Thanks to PowerTap™ technology, the brightness can be adjusted instantly with a simple tap on the touch-sensitive housing.

- The Storm 500 is designed for epic adventures with 500 lumens and a rugged waterproof and dustproof housing. The Storm 500 R is powered by our BD 2400 lithium-ion battery, which is charged via a micro USB port, and features a sustainably made elastic headband with recycled fabric content from Repreve. The compact housing has an ergonomic shape. The control element with two buttons makes it easy to select modes. In addition, the revised optical efficiency not only provides brighter light, but also conserves battery life, which can now be tracked with a battery power meter (3 LEDs) for six settings. The Storm 500 R also has three different night vision modes as well as white light for close range, e.g. for sorting equipment before the last rope length.
