Silva Arc Jet S

The Arc Jet S is a state-of-the-art thumb compass designed specifically for orienteers who rely on fast and precise navigation during both training and competition. The innovative Spectra Speed-Dial graphic on the compass case features numbers and reference marks that allow for quick and easy orientation, even at high speeds. The Silva Jet 2.0 needle is characterized by its exceptional speed and stability, ensuring a quick settling time and thus not interrupting the flow of the run.
The compass’s well-thought-out Arc-wing design provides additional grip and stability, while the base plate allows for direct contact between your thumb and the map. Depending on your preference, a clip-on thumb plate can be attached to provide a more traditional thumb grip. The adjustable thumb grip is complemented by two thumb straps included in the package—one soft and one firm—which are rubberized on the inside to ensure a secure fit.
The Arc Jet S is made of durable material that can withstand even the most demanding conditions and is equipped with a special friction element that stabilizes the map while running. For even greater precision, an optional Arc Zoom magnifying glass can be attached to the baseplate. Tested and recommended by renowned orienteer Tove Alexandersson, this compass is the ideal choice for ambitious runners.
