Bogner describes Borja, Nic and Scott as waterproof, with taped seams. According to Bogner, the Tec jackets and the Saelly are water- and wind-repellent. If you expect wet snow, go for waterproof.
Down or synthetic
The Neila is filled with 70% duck down and 30% polyester. Many other jackets keep you warm with Thermore synthetic insulation. According to Bogner, it contains no animal-derived materials and is easy to care for.
Finding the right size
Bogner uses standard clothing sizes. Women's German size 38 corresponds to M, designed for an 88 to 91 cm chest and a 72 to 75 cm waist. Men's German size 50 is L, with a 98 to 101 cm chest. Measure yourself before you order.

Frequently asked questions
Bogner or Fire + Ice: what's the difference?
Both lines come from Bogner in Munich. According to Bogner, Bogner stands for timeless ready-to-wear and exclusive skiwear, Fire + Ice for performance wear and functional sportswear.
How do the ski jackets fit?
Bogner cuts most models in a regular fit, which gives you freedom of movement. The Moia is fitted at the waist and has a stretch waist belt.
I'm tall. Will the trouser length fit?
Bogner bases its women's ski trousers in regular sizes on an inside leg of 78 cm, intended for heights of 165 to 172 cm. For men it's 79 to 83 cm. Measure your inside leg without shoes, from crotch to floor.
What keeps snow out of the trousers?
On Borja, Nic and Scott, a snow gaiter sits inside the hem, with edge guards on the outside to protect against ski edges. The jackets have an elastic snow skirt with press studs.
Do I need to re-proof my ski jacket?
For water-repellent material, Bogner recommends re-proofing after washing. If an item is labelled as durably water-repellent, the effect lasts even after washing, according to Bogner. Wash according to the care label.
