Flair 81 Carbon IPT WR XL
With 128_81_109 mm sidecut and 3D.ridge, the Flair 81 Carbon is THE all-mountain ski for advanced, very sporty female skiers who value excellent grip, smoothness and liveliness. The 3D.glass construction produces noticeably more power transmission, higher torsional stiffness as well as improved edge grip and driving stability. The WideRide XL binding system is naturally compatible with GripWalk soles.

WideRide XL
Marker and Völkl developed the iPT Wideride system with a contact surface width 30% greater than standard. On top of that, the binding is mounted significantly closer to the edge of the ski. This helps the energy flow more directly and continuously to the edges. They make wider skis more agile, responsive and easier to control. The skis are better in tune with the skier's signals and application of pressure and edge for a precise and powerful characteristic. DIN-ISO: 4.0-12.03D.glass
Völkl's latest development 3D.Glass once again enables an improvement in the handling characteristics and stability of a ski, especially in difficult snow conditions. Compared to a classic glass construction, the three-dimensional and multi-folded fabric layers in front of and behind the binding area result in increased edge grip and a more lively springback of the ski in curves.3D.Ridge
The wood core is raised in the middle of the ski and extremely flattened towards the sides. This results in an enormous reduction in weight and gyrating mass, while at the same time maintaining the stability of the ski. The 3D.Ridge technology stands for the most extreme and effective construction available at the moment. It has since become the trademark of VÖLKL lightweight construction. A characteristic feature is the raised centre bar, which flattens out to the maximum in front of and behind the binding towards the edge. This reduces the flywheel mass around the pivot point to a minimum and significantly increases the agility of the ski. At the same time, the center bar allows for an exact design of the hard curve, resulting in a 3D.RIDGE particularly harmonious flex curve of the ski. Despite the weight reduction, the 3D.Ridge design does not negatively affect the load and durability of the ski in any way.Powered by Carbon
The carbon construction allows the optimal combination of low weight, best durability and very sporty driving characteristics.Base P-Tex 2100
Sintered, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene coating with high density, excellent wear resistance and very good sliding properties.Full sidewall
The sidewall along the entire ski length ensures direct and best possible power transmission.
